Title: Nurse Practitioner - Cardiac Care
Location: Launceston, Tasmania
Position Type: Multiple Permanent, full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight. *hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Salary: $148,470 per annum (pro rata) + 12% superannuation contribution.
Visa sponsorship and relocation support available for eligible UK/IE candidates.
The Position
This permanent, full-time position offers the chance to work alongside skilled healthcare professionals, providing expert cardiac care to the community. In this role, you'll use your advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiac conditions. You'll work autonomously while being part of a supportive multidisciplinary team committed to delivering excellent patient outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Conduct comprehensive cardiac assessments and develop treatment plans
- Manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions in hospital settings
- Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, and nursing staff
- Provide patient and family education on cardiac health management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research
- Mentor and support junior nursing staff

Essential Criteria
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and endorsed as a Nurse Practitioner.
