The Position
•This permanent, full-time position offers the chance to shape emergency nursing practice while working alongside experienced medical staff in a supportive, collaborative environment. Roles/Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor nursing staff across all emergency department shifts
• Oversee clinical operations and ensure compliance with safety protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes
• Manage staffing schedules and resource allocation
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice
• Support staff development through coaching and professional growth opportunities
Essential Criteria
• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Substantial experience in emergency or acute care nursing
• Proven leadership experience in clinical settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
