DETAILS
- We are currently seeking an Enrolled Nurse (Grade 3) for a contract position at a Multi-Purpose Health Service in Queensland.
- Dates: 14th March 11th May
The facility offers:
Acute care and aged care services
24/7 emergency care & outpatient services
Visiting allied health services, including radiology, physiotherapy, mental health
Dedicated aged care support
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
- AHPRA Registration
- Rural nursing and emergency experience
- Aged Care National Police Certificate
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
- Paediatric life support
- Experience in imminent birthing
- Knowledge of and proficiency in ieMR (please note:Note: if not trained in ieMR, you must travel for training to Mackay. A car will be required)
- Previous experience in QLD Health, Mackay HHS, or other Australian healthcare facilities
MANDATORY COMPETENCIES
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Life Support (ALS)
- Emergency Triage Education Kit (ETEK)
- Manual and patient handling
- Infection control
- Aggressive behaviour management
- Mandatory reporting for suspicions of child abuse and neglect
- Medications management, including QPHS (Drugs and Poisons) Regulations 2012
- Proof of vaccines/immunity as per QLD Health
