About the Role
We are seeking a Dual Diagnosis Nurse Practitioner to join our Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (MHWS). This role focuses on delivering comprehensive, consumer-centred care to individuals experiencing co-occurring mental health and alcohol and other drug (AOD) disorders.
As a key member of our team, you will:
- Conduct clinical assessments, screenings, and brief interventions
- Deliver harm reduction strategies and pharmacotherapy prescribing
- Work collaboratively with community and hospital-based service providers
- Promote consumer engagement and long-term recovery
Position Overview
- Full-time, ongoing (80 hours per fortnight)
- Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 6
- Eligible for workforce and incentive grants up to $20,000 (for rent, childcare, relocation & more)
What We’re Looking For
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration as a Nurse Practitioner
- Relevant Master’s qualification in mental health
- Minimum three years of advanced clinical nursing experience within the last six years
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and alignment with our organisational values
- Required Checks: Police Record Check, Employee Working with Children’s Check, Current Immunisation Status
