MIDWIFERY CONTRACTS

  • Commencing 28th October for 4-8 weeks (with possibility to extend)

 

Rates/Benefits

  • Weekdays -$89.92 per hour
  • Saturdays- $174.81
  • Sundays - &179.84
  • Travel allowance
  • Accommodation provided

 

About the Health Service

The hospital supports around 500-600 births per year. The Midwifery Unit is comprised of an 8-bed Antenatal/Postnatal Ward, a 3-bed Birth Suite, 2-bed Midwifery Assessment Unit (MAU), and a 4-bed Special Care Nursery. This hospital provides care to low and high-risk women and also support the birthing for surrounding smaller regional services.

 

Essential Criteria

  • AHPRA relevant registration
  • Minimum 2 years experience
  • FSEP Level 3
  • Current PROMPT certificate
  • Current Neonatal Resus certificate
  • Current BLS certificate
  • Immunisation & serology evidence
