Rates/Benefits:
- $88.79 - $94.39 Weekday (Mon-Fri AM Shift)
- $99.89 - $106.19 Weekday (Mon-Fri PM Shift)

About the Health Service:
This position is for a Mental Health Registered Nurse to work within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS); and are a multi-disciplinary team of Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, Psychiatry Registrars and Consultant Psychiatrists, and Administration Service Officers.
CAMHS provides assessment and treatment for children and young people who are experiencing moderate to severe mental health issues.
The Eating Disorder Service comprises a number of programs: Residential Treatment Centre, Eating Disorders Program, Eating Disorders Clinical Hub and Short-Term Recovery Intervention Program.
The Eating Disorders Residential Treatment Centre is a 12 bed sub-acute health facility for persons aged 16 years and older and provides 24/7 nursing support.
Shift pattern: Rotating roster, Morning shift (0700-1530), Evening shift (1300-2130) and Night shift (2100-0730).
The CAMHS is one of the services provided by the Mental Health, Justice Health and Alcohol and Drug Services to provide support to children, youth and adults through inpatient and outpatient settings, community health centres, justice health facilities and other community settings.
About You:
- AHPRA registration
- Basic/Advanced Life Support certificate
- Minimum 2 years RN experience in a mental health setting
- Provide mental health assessment, care and relapse prevention planning through evidence-based interventions
- Experience working with clients with a primary diagnosis of an eating disorder in an inpatient setting
- Current national police check
- Current driver's license
- Current immunisation & serology evidence
- Current Working With Vulnerable People check (ACT) (or, willing to apply for one)
