Nurse/Medical Educator - Permanent Position
Join the team to provide expert advice and support in the Education Portfolio. You will ensure our education programs comply with strategic direction and policies while fostering learning by:
- Incorporating evidence-based education principles
- Implementing andragogical approaches to training and assessments
- Utilising appropriate technologies
The Client
Our client is a not for profit, membership-based organisation leading the way in surgical performance, professionalism and patient care in Australia and New Zealand.
With service to members at the forefront of the business, our client supports ongoing learning and development for the surgical workforce of more than 7,000 surgeons and 1,300 surgical trainees and Specialist International Medical Graduates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach professional development courses for fellows, supervisors, and examiners
- Enhance facilitation skills and teaching quality
- Contribute to innovation and best practice in education, training, and assessment programs
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with AMC Accreditation compliance projects
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Masters of Health Education (MSc) or equivalent
- Background in Nursing
- Extensive experience in program design, delivery, and evaluation
- Strong facilitation skills for both face-to-face and online courses
- High-level written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage concurrent projects and adapt to changing priorities
- Desirable: Experience in the design and evaluation of eLearning packages
After hours and weekend work will be a requirement of this position as will travel.
